Lauren Buffington
As a four-year starter on the Arrowhead High School Varsity Field Hockey Team, she was awarded First Team All-State Offense and First Team All-State Defense.
Lauren played for the [now defunct but highly successful] Milwaukee Field Hockey Club for 6 years, representing them in many tournaments scross the US at both U16 and U19 levels (including National Festival and NITs).
Buffington now plays Division 1 Field Hockey at Central Michigan University where she has started all three years and was voted Captain as a sophomore. Currently, Lauren rankeds third on the team in goals and assistss.

Our first ever venture in Wisconsin was nothing short of successful. Over 38 campers, supporting six different schools, were in attendance and participated in the wonderful event, setting the standards for future offerings!! Thank you to all involved!

Derek 'Degsy' Aspinall
Director of Coaching With 30+ years of coaching experience, Degsy prides himself on his ability to develop players from grassroots to international levels (and everywhere in between).
Aspinall has been heavily involved in the advancement of Field Hockey since arriving in the US. Establishing [what is now] his fourth club this side of the pond, he was one of the original members of the USA Field Hockey (USAFH) Steering Committee for Club Development (at the USOC). While with the USAFH, he was a National Olympic Pipeline Coach and also served as Futures Program Head Coach (Region 8), Selector, Junior Olympic Coach, as well as being chosen to coach USA U21 Elite players. Lana Stone
Coach Introducing Kenyon College commit, Lana Stone. Captain of the Wisconsin State Champions, University School of Milwaukee (USM), she is a three year varsity field hockey athlete.
Lana has played all across the US with LIFT Field Hockey (where she also serves as a coach). She has represented this Milwaukee based club at many tournaments including the USA Field Hockey (USAFH) National Festival, USAFH National Indoor Tournament, and the Disney Field Hockey Showcase. Stone comes off the back of a wonderful season where she was awarded 'First Team All Conference', received the prestigious Tessa Nowakowski Award (USM), and named USA Field Hockey Festival All-Star List! Holly Heeb
Guest Coach Inaugural Marian University Sabres Head Coach, Holly Heeb, spent two years as Graduate Assistant Coach with the Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) Falcons and brings additional experience from SUNY Morrisville of the SUNYAC where she served as Assistant Coach.
During her Hendrix College playing days, Heeb was highly-decorated. She was a four-time 'Longstreth/NFHCA All-Great Lakes Region honoree', and a four-time 'All-Southern Athletic Association First-team honoree'. Heeb set 5 program records for goals, assists, points, shots, and shots on goal and was nominated to play in the 2018 NFHCA All-Star Senior Game. The St. Louis, Missouri native is the founder of the USA FUNdamental Field Hockey program in Arkansas. Sam Dunn
Guest Coach Dunn is a former Concordia University (CUW) standout. She managed 63 games for the Falcons over a four year period, accruing 55 points along the way.
Whilst with CUW she received many accolades including 'First Team All-Southern Athletic Association', 'Second Team All-Southern Athletic Association', 'Longstreth/NFHCA Great Lakes All-Region First Team', 'Longstreth/NFCHA Great Lakes All-Region Second Team', and 'Southern Athletic Association Second Team All-Tournament Team'. In High School, Sam was a three-time All-Classic 8 Conference selection, including a First Team pick junior season, and she helped guide Arrowhead to two State Championships. Blythe Aspinall
U10 Assistant Coach Blythe has been in or around hockey all her life. A former Lift Field Hockey participant, she has supported the University School of Milwaukee High School program for the past two years and can often be seen organizing drills and providing useful tips to players.
She is a current member of the infamous Milwaukee Winter Club where she is developing into a solid netminder as well as contributing on the ice when called upon. Aspinall Jnr is mature beyond her years and is very serious about coaching. Planning and delivering sessions has been more than a passing interest for this Third Grader. Izzy Quadracci
Guest Coach Izzy is the current Head Coach of the University Lake School(ULS) field hockey program.
A former ULS player, Quadracci has returned to the program, transforming her players into genuine state championship contenders. She instills heart, pride and confidence. Her team is renowned for their great sportsmanship which is a true reflection of Izzy's character. Recognized by her peers, she was named the 2021 [Sanctuary Sports sponsored] Wisconsin Field Hockey High School Coach of the Season. Annie Stetler
Goalie Coach Stetler made her name as a goalie playing for Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA) High School. Annie also played for the very successful and now defunct MKE FHC.
Since graduating, she has continued to make an impression on regional field hockey by introducing a club team to Marquette University where she currently studies. Stetler is a current member of the DSHA coaching staff. Annie is our specialist goalkeeping coach and a welcomed addition to the staff. Burgundy Biletski
Guest Goalie Coach Biletski is a former Canadian National Team player who brings a plethora of experience and know-how. She represented her country for over ten years, competing in the Pan-America Games, Indoor World Cup, and the Four Nations tournament. She also played for the University of Calgary where she was awarded the accolade of First Team All Canadian.
Her coaching resume is equally impressive, providing goalkeeping guidance as Assistant Coach at the University of Maine and Sewanee University. Burgundy also served as Executive Director of the Alberta Field Hockey Association. Whilst in her native country, Biletski was the recipient of the 'Canada West Gail Wilson - Most Outstanding Contributor Award'. She shall be in attendance at various sessions throughout the season. |
