Derek 'Degsy' Aspinall
Director of Coaching With 30+ years of coaching experience, Degsy prides himself on his ability to develop players from grassroots to international levels (and everywhere in between). Aspinall has been heavily involved in the advancement of Field Hockey since arriving in the US. Establishing [what is now] his fourth club this side of the pond, he was one of the original members of the USA Field Hockey (USAFH) Steering Committee for Club Development (at the USOC). While with the USAFH, he was a National Olympic Pipeline Coach and also served as NEXUS/Futures Program Head Coach (Region 8), Selector, Junior Olympic Coach, as well as being chosen to coach USA U21 Elite players. Dr. Meredith Jeffers
Club Coach Meredith started her field hockey career at the age of 12 with the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats. A four-year varsity player, she'd captain this high school team to two State and one Regional Championship. Jeffers has played across the country with the [now defunct] MKEFHC (Milwaukee Field Hockey Club) in many national tournaments. Her skills and passion for the game awarded her the opportunity to play at the USAFH National Futures Tournament in Virginia Beach. Meredith would go on to play D1 Field Hockey for the Saint Louis University Billikens. Jeffers boasts solid coaching experience having previously worked with MKEFHC as well as St. Louis youth programming. With her background in physical therapy and leadership, she prides herself on being able to help develop strong, compassionate and hard-working players. Blythe Aspinall
U10 Assistant Coach Blythe has been in or around hockey all her life. A former Lift Field Hockey participant, she supported the University School of Milwaukee High School program for the just over two years and was often seen organizing drills and providing useful tips to players. She is a current member of the infamous Milwaukee Winter Club where she is developing into a solid netminder as well as contributing on the ice when called upon. Aspinall Jnr is mature beyond her years and is very serious about coaching. Planning and delivering sessions has been more than a passing interest for this Fourth Grader. Kaitlyn Paullin
Super 10s Coach Paullin is recognized as one of the region's most up and coming talents. Having made Varsity at University School of Milwaukee in her freshman year, she is now climbing the ranks in USA Field Hockey's, Nexus program. A wonderful athlete who leads by example, her experiences are helping to develop our youngest players. She would record her first win as a coach against Arrowhead Warhawks, guiding the U12 Rangers to a 3-0 victory. Kaitlyn has played across America, representing Majestyx (Maryland) and nationally ranked Windy City (Illinois) in competitions like the Disney Showcase and NITQs. Lana Stone
Club Coach Introducing Kenyon College forward, Lana Stone. Stone comes off the back of a wonderful season for the Owls where she registered 8 points in 11 games - the team's highest point scoring rate (0.600). She is a former captain of the Wisconsin State Champions, University School of Milwaukee (USM), where she represented the varsity program for three consecutive years. At USM, she would receive 'First Team All-Conference' and the prestigious Tessa Nowakowski Award. Later that year, she'd be named USA Field Hockey Festival All-Star List! Lana has played all across the US with LIFT Field Hockey (where she also serves as a coach). She has represented this Milwaukee based club at many tournaments including the USA Field Hockey (USAFH) National Festival, USAFH National Indoor Tournament, and the Disney Field Hockey Showcase. Holly Heeb
Guest Coach Holly brings a ton of coaching and playing experience. A standout at Rhodes College, Holly would start her collegiate coaching career at SUNY Morrisville before moving to up the road to Concordia University Wisconsin. She was then recruited to head-up the Marian University program where she'd play a massive role in the launch of this new program, guiding them to an impressive 7-8 record in their inaugural season. Sam Schoessow
Guest Coach Concordia University Head Coach, Samantha Schoessow, is going into her seventh season with the Falcons. In 2022, Sam is keen to build on what was her best season in program history. Under Schoessow, players have received recognition for their abilities both on and off the field, including All-Region selections, and various SAA awards. Sam was a four-year starter with Alvernia University where she received several accolades including [two-time] All Commonwealth Conference and Second Team All-Region selection. She brings an abundance of field hockey knowledge.
