U8 Summer 23 Season
After aligning our calendars with the national governing body (USA Field Hockey), we're excited to announce the launch of our U8 summer field hockey program. In keeping with the club's ethos, we shall continue to offer developmental opportunities to players of all abilities at the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 levels.
As with the U10 program, a strong emphasis shall be placed on building key fundamental skills including (but not limited to) ball and stick control, passing, receiving, and tackling, as well as gaining an understanding of the rules.
When registering, please use the following as a guide - U8 players are categorized as being under the age of 8 (as of January 1, 2023). If the athlete is 8 or over on January 1, they must register as a U10 player.
Program dates are as follows:
June
Th 29 - 5:30-6:30pm
July
Th 6 5:30-6:30pm - Su 9 12:00-1:00pm
Th 13 5:30-6:30pm - Su 16 12:00-1:00pm
Th 20 5:30-6:30pm - Su 23 12:00-1:00pm
August
Th 3 5:30-6:30pm - Su 6 12:00-1:00pm
Th 10 5:30-6:30pm
Sign-ups are available at both FULL and HALF season pricing. Full includes all 10 sessions, half is up to 6 sessions.
U8 sessions are one hour in duration.
